Professional Preparation 2: Certificate of Teaching in IB
The IB Certificate of Teaching and Teaching component is composed of a number of credit bearing certificate courses and fieldwork geared towards professional preparation in the target subject-areas within the context of IB Diploma Programme.
The Teacher Education Unit (TEU) aims to
- design, develop and implement courses that align with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) guidelines and criteria.
- facilitate the administration of the IB recognition, review and renewal procedures
- prepare the necessary documentation for recognition, review and renewal
- explore opportunities for capacity building, and liaise with the IBO as necessary
